Can't fit a movie Superbad on DVD

Hi I was trying to make a back up copy of the movie Superbad (as I do all my movies) and ripped it with DVD Shrink. Everything worked fine until I tried burning it using Nero 8. It spit out the disc and brought up an error saying:

Data to be written: 4,502 MB (4,720,787,456 bytes)
Space available on disc: 4,489 MB (4,707,319,808 bytes)

Can anyone help me out?

just apply dvd shrink (default output is 4464 Mb). It should fit fine on a dvd-5. BTW, dvdshrink does not work with Nero 8 or 9. Sorry.

Ok i figured it out. Also, dvd shrink works just fine with nero 8 for me. I've backed up many dvds with no problems until this.

 

If you use Nero, why bother with DVD Shrink at all? Why not use Nero Recode instead.

 

nero recode says it only works on non-copy-protected dvds.

 

This movie was very easily done with dvdfab > fixvts > dvd shrink > burn. Easily fit onto a dvd-5 disk.

 

And DVD Shrink alone(without a decrypter) will NOT work on 99% of the new copy protected DVDs.
