Cant flash my xbox 360

hello, i been trying for days to flash my xbox 360 with ixtreme 1.6 but i cant get the programs to load up the drive.

i tried dosflash, but it always does the 0x51 0xD1, i turn off the xbox for 3 seconds then turn back on, and still does the same thing =(. when its off it stops at 0xD1 but when i turn back on i keep getting the same thing.

i tried iprep08 or something like that, but when i try to load up the ixtreme firmware (bin file) it says Not a valid firmware or something like that. i downloaded the files from ps3news and from xbins and nothing.


any one can help?

i tried with my motherboard sata ports and i even bought the VT6421 PCI card and still get the same error.

 

try the moddisc 1.6 its very easy to use, just follow the instructions which are displayed on your computer screen as you go. good luck

 

What drive are you trying to dump/flash?

 

okay i got iprep to work. now i can make the usb.

one thing.. when i start my pc with the usb it says No bootable media, or no disk found or something like that. (i unplugged all the drives)

i tried doing it 5 times and nothing.

any info?

dosflash32 still not working.. on this new pc i tried it but i get 0x51 static. when i turn it off, it goes to 0xD1 (static, stays frozen there) when i turn it back on goes to 0x51 again (stays there, frozen at that number) i click the READ button, but i get an error sayin, No Chip on this device or something like that.

this is so confusing. what am i doing wrong??!!?

Again, what drive are you trying to dump? If you are trying to send an Intro to a Lite-ON you will get a status like that that (0x51, 0xD1). Please post what type of drive you are trying to dump.

 

can't you also just try the program EVERYONE is using, jungleflasher?

 

i thought i had benq, but i just found out today its LITE ON.

 

for the lite on you will need some way of extracting the key. most people just use jungleflasher like the previous poster suggested. You will need the connectivity kit as well as the probe. these can be found on ebay or divineo.com.

 

okay, i made my own probe, i followed the sticky.

i dont wanna buy the connectivity kit. i already spent on via card, stuff for my probe. i dont want to buy more stuff..

is there a way of doing it without the connectivity kit?

 

Not smart. The kit will help prevent bricking your drive. Have fun frying it. Oh, and how in the world did you not know it was a lite-on? I take it reading is hard too?

 

well, it looks like a damn benq, i found out cuz someone asked me the wire color.

anyways. a lot of ppl do it, without special tools, and dont fusk up their drives.. why cant i do it?

 

Should've looked at the label instead of the tray, especially since you had the xbox open.

But yeah, you need some way to dump the drive.. The CK3 or maximus extractor will work for you. It's paying money but you can either build your own or stop griping about paying less than a game to not ever have to buy a game again.

 

Yes you can use a homemade extractor, the xecuter parts are more reliable, however you will still need to use jungleflasher. I've done it multiple ways and they all work but jungleflasher is by far the easiest.

 

okay guys, i got my xtractor working, and i extracted keys and all that..

i tried using MOD DISC 1.6, but when its loading i get XMS Error driver not loaded or something like that, and this error is not letting me run the program like it should.

any help? on fixing it?

 

if you read the keys in jf than your just a couple clicks away from flashing.
i think if you read the tute you would know what to do.

 

i need a tutorial with JF 1.060 and ixtreme 1.6

beside jf is jf, whats the dif. 1.51 or 1.6 is the only thing, what you do is the same.

 

1.51 was the last version. like fudrucker pointed out they all give the same directions. as long as you have the 1.6 firmware thats all you really need to worry yourself with.

 

well, i figure it out my own, since no one here helps, they just tell u to read n read n read. you all outthere need to know that not all people
learn the same way, others need a different way of explaining. otherwise, no body would be asking questions.
