cant ftp

my ftp wont work i got internet connection and everything i dont get it?

 

r your username and password correct?

is it through a cat-5 crossover or any kind of crossover wire?

is it through a router?

r the conections connetcted?

is the ip correct?

 

yeah everything right

 

its the ip or the username or password i did the same mistake. look at the bottom right corner it says the ip there put it in the ftp program then put as username: xbox password: xbox

 

it still doesnt work

Try going into DOS prompt and typing PING [IP address].

For example my xbox ip is 192.168.0.3 so i would type into dos

PING 192.168.0.3

If you dont get a responce your ip isnt correct. If you do there is some other setting.
