Hey all, First off thanks in advance for any help. So here is my dilemma, I'm using DVD Decryt(you know the rest) and my pc refuses to go faster than .07x speed. It takes me over an hour to write on disc. Now I know about the PIO mode and all that and THAT ISN'T the problem. I've checked my device manager and it's all Ultra DMA Mode. What can be the problem? Age and/or speed of my pc? Is there some specs that I was unaware of to run this software proficiently? Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a good one! BB
DVD Decrypter is no longer updated. If the issue is in the ripping process then you should use a more up to date program such as DVDFab HD Decrypter (free), DVDFab Platinum (paid), or AnyDVD (paid). If it is the burning process try updating to ImgBurn to burn to disk.
Double check your burner with this app. http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php This line is the important one: UDMA Mode Enabled IDE Channel : #1 - Master Drive Manufacturer : PIONEER Model : PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-115D Revision : 1.18 Serial ATA : No Support : ATA/ATAPI-7 Cache : 64 KB IORDY : Yes LBA Mode : Yes DMA Mode : Yes NCQ Mode : No SCT Mode : No DCO Mode : No NV Cache : No TCQ Mode : No CFA Power Mode : No SETMAX : No Multiword DMA Mode : 2 PIO Mode : PIO 4 UDMA Mode max. : 4 (ATA-66) UDMA Mode Enabled : 4 (ATA-66)
