Can't get my Mod Chip type

Hi guys,
I have my PSTwo open and i dont know where i can see the MOD chip. I need to know what type it is?
Any help plz

the chip is installed on the bottom of the board you will have to take the board out look here on how to do that http://www.modchip.ca/install/ps2/general/apartv1011.php
be very carefull! Then post back with whats written on the chip.

actually if u think i can play backup games without modchips or swaps, they maybe i dont have one
I know i have one, but i couldnt figure out which one (where & what to see)

Fair point ¨) apart from taking the console apart i really dont have any other clue as to how you would find the chip make

 

also, if you look around there are guides about how to boot games with particular types of mod chips, so you can compare these boot methods with the ones you use and try to identify it that way.
