I have been using my mac os x 10.3.9 and windows no problems getting through firewalls works fine. I have tried everything with a new mac os x tiger i picked up somewhere. Is there something I'm missing with this operating system to get by?
download issues are common on the macintosh right now for some strange reason macs seem to have a issue with keeping a constant internet connection i tried to download open office for mac and half way through the download the mac started to drop my connection speed and even worse during mac os x system updates it would drop the connection or worse
firs off.. technically.. if you are on 10.3.9. you are still on panther, not tiger. there are some issues with downloads.. but what are you trying to download? how are you downloading it?
