Cant get Starview box out of data being updated mode

Just switched on this evening to find this annoying problem N*L dublin and it wont go away

Hi,
This is happening with all boxes that have old firmware.
Just update with the latest firmware and should be OK.
I had the same problem with a Digivox.

And how do we update the firmware?
I'm NT* and I'm in Dublin.
Excuse my ignorance,not great with starview boxes.
I've been trying for the past 2days to fix mine,I've entered the new codes in nagravision,saved the default key and I'm still getting the data updating msg?

Any help is much appreciated.

 

check that your EMU is turned on.

 

You say saved the default key, hope you dont mean you pressed default key AFTER entering codes.

 

I am having the same prob can somebody give me the codes so i can check them with the ones i have on my starview box thanks very much

i have 3 starbox 'the box' and they are all constantly updating im with Nt* in celbridge, my sisters in Tallaght have gone as well any ideas on how to fix this

 

If they are st*rview 2 the b0x, then try this.
menu > 1570
look down & you will see "set default key"
press OK
exit back to channels, go to s*y sports & let it update.

 

How do you know if the box is a 2?
Just tried this - and its at 130% and counting.
Help!? Have to update firmware so that I don't have to keep putting in codes, but don't have the cable. Not really sure how to do it anyway.

Heard that N*L have finally found a way to kill them, is this true or just a rumour?

 

press menu > system information & tell me what your api ver is please.
