Cant get to EMU menu. Help Please

I have recently purhased another "The box super", Scanned for all channels and saved them. But the problem I am having now is when I come to turn the emu on I cant get into the menu. I have tried menu 1570 and I have also tried parental control, info 2004 and I cannot get to the second menu. Batteries in the remote are brand new and i can get into the other menu on my other box. Any help appreciated.

Go to parental control in menu
press ( i or info button) + (2007)

 

Tried that mate not working any ideas??

Boot version 8.0

I have a earlier api version 6.something should I downgrade my new box to this or stick with the api version I have got on also??

 

Anybody else any ideas please??? Its doing my head in now!!!

Thanks for the advise. I have flashed it with the version and can now access the emu menu but have encountered another problem now.

When I scan channells it is saying ok next to them but not finding any channells. it only stored 24 but they was the like of TV1700, Tv4 etc.

Could this just be a bad flash and need doing again or is it something else?

Not using a splitter and other box is working fine
