My laptop recognizes my windows 7 start-up disk when I reset, but my computer just boots normally without noticing it. The drive in the computer is blu ray, if that makes a difference, and I bought it fairly recently. the computer reads it after it's already booted up but as the current version is XP, I can't just update form there.
Any ideas? I couldn't find a post so if there is one feel free to redirect this. :p

go into the bios & change the boot sequence so that the blu ray is the 1st boot drive not the hard drive.
