Can't hear dialogue audio on player..

    So... my media player was working fine earlier. But now, when I try to watch a video.. the background sound is fine (ie: noise effects or soundtrack) but I can't hear when people talk. Now what's wrong/

    Are you sure it is all videos not just one.
    Does the computer make any other sounds? Like when starting up.
    When you check the device manager in the control panal is your sound card working OK?
