Problem Can't import to contacts folder from .wab file in Windows 8.1

    Yes,
    I have windows 8.1 64-bit and when I try to import contacts in the contacts folder, the option to import the outlook express address book .wab is not present.

    Furthermore, when I try to open the .wab file, I keep getting an error message that wab32.dll is not registered. I tried registering the file via CMD but to no avail.

    please help!!!

    do you still have the xp computer as xp was the last windows to use outlook express?

    I do but that's not my concern. My concern is not the status of the address book.wab file . My concern is I want to import the contacts from that file to the Contacts folder in Windows 8.1.
