hey guys, i tried to install nero 7 and windows mobile device center today, and my computer locks up during the install everytime i try. i cannot figure out why its doing this and its very annoying. if anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate it. thank you
Do your PC specs support running Nero 7? Where are you getting Nero from, download from Nero or an installation CD?
it does support nero, and its coming from a cd, not downloaded. however, i did finally get windows mobile device center to install last night, however, now my dang phone wont connect to it at all, it starts to when you first start WMDC and about 2 seconds later is claims its disconnected.
does the drive work properly? if its a cd\dvd rw can you rip play songs\movies if not and you are having problems other than these two progs try going to device manager and find the correct ide channel usually the secondary select click properties go to advanced settings make sure your data tranfer mode is dma if available if its pio only you could be having problems with slow data transfer do the same for your cd\dvd drives also. hope this helps.
the drives work fine regarding riping/burning cds/movies/360 games. the darn computer just doenst want to instal anything at all. WMDC was downloaded from microsoft and it took me 3 days to actually get it to install from my desktop where the download was saved at. also, i tried installing it from different drives also. two are IDE ones a SATA drive.
