hello, i was banned from xbox live and am now trying to get unbanned. I got a new harddrive and a new eeprom. i copied all of the files from my old hdd to this new one, and with Softmod Installer Deluxe, I "restored MS backup." This allowed me to see the MS Dashboard, but I didnt try to get onto Live because I would be banned immediately (banned eeprom). So using ConfigMagic, I updated the new, unbanned eeprom to my xbox. Now here's what happens: - when I turn on my xbox, I see the MS logo, and the hdd makes a strange sound, like it's reading/writing, then the screen flickers, and I see the MS logo again, repeat repeat repeat... - when I coldboot Halo 2, I see the push start screen, when I push start the xbox freezes All other games freeze when I try to access the Xbox Live portion of it. What did I do wrong?
its probably in the E drive on your Hard Drive......i had the same problem when i updated the hdd in my xbox when i opened halo 2 and it froze at the same screen i re-ftp'd my E drive and it fixed the problem...
