Ok, Years ago I bought win2k. I installed it and tucked it away for safe keeping. Now I need it and it doesn't work. I keep getting the would you like to format now query. So I made an iso image with alcohol 120% from a friends disc. Now I can't burn it properly. I tried using alcohols image burning wizard and nero now I have 2 coasters. I've never tried to do a boot disc b-4 and I'm losing. Any help would be appreciated.

make sure in the BIOS that the cd-rom is one of the
    primary boot options.

It may be that the disc is fine but your computer isnt set
to boot from the cd-rom which can be changed in the bios.

    Good luck

thought it was but I'll double check. I do know when the comp starts, the cd drive spins up then I get the not bootable cd message.

Also make sure that the drive is plugged into the primary IDe slot, and the cable is correct.

Hopefully DDP will see this and bring his knowledge,
    he is so computer savvy.

    Good luck
