a friend left me a lappy with the vista defender virus on it. it wouldnt let me download and install malwarebytes. fortunately superantispyware was already installed on the lappy and working. it removed some trojan's and other spyware and after reboot it seems that vista defender has gone. the problem now is, i cant open any programs (apart from superantispyware which runs at startup) when i double click say, convertx2dvd, i just get the open with. window where i need to choose a program to open it. any ideas people? thanks.
