hi,im an absolute beginner at this,got dvd shrink and decrypter.been experimenting copying dvd movies and though they play on my multi region dvd player,they wont play on my pc?ive checked the box for region free on the dvd shrink when i backed it to my hard drive. all i get when i put the copied disc in is an audio and video file showing.ive copied from a copy which plays fine on my pc and dvd player,so what is the problem? im using dvd- discs,my laptop has a toshiba dvd rom,anything else you need to know.the burning software i use came with my pc,its called drag and drop.its prob a bit crap but its just for now. i need some expert help please. thanks Gaz
Can you access the Files on the DVD, meaning can you see the Files on the DVD but just can"t play them??? What are you useing to playback the DVD??? Because media player doesn"t Natively come with a Mpeg-2 or Dolby Digital decoder and without these you can"t Play DVD"s with Media player which you shouldn"t do anyways because Media plater sucks at DVD Playback... I suggest that you Install a software DVD Player like "PowerDVD" or "WinDVD" which will install the Correct decoders to playback Mpeg-2/DVD Video and Dolby AC3 audio..... Cheers
