hi,im an absolute beginner at this, got dvd shrink and decrypter.been experimenting copying dvd movies and though they play on my multi region dvd player, they wont play on my pc?ive checked the box for region free on the dvd shrink when i backed it to my hard drive.
all i get when i put the copied disc in is an audio and video file showing.ive copied from a copy which plays fine on my pc and dvd player,so what is the problem?
im using dvd- discs,my laptop has a toshiba dvd rom, anything else you need to know.the burning software i use came with my pc,its called drag and drop.its prob a bit crap but its just for now.
i need some expert help please.
    thanks Gaz

Do you mean the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders? Open up the VIDEO_TS folder and select the VIDEO.VOB file, right-click and choose play with whatever software you'd like.

just so you know, all caps is considered yelling and is against forum rules.

That being said, if you play the first VOB file, your software should automatically continue on to the next one and so on, so you should be able to watch the whole movie with it on your hard drive.

You can't burn them on a [bold]CD[/bold] but if you have a DVD burner you can burn them on a DVD and watch it like a regular movie. Check out one of the guides listed in my sig.
