Hello, I have a quite new Acer PC. Living in France now so Windows is in French. It can play DVD's usually OK, but certain ones it won't even read. So far it's been 3 Disney dvd's and a few others like Stand by me. Do Disney stop you from playing their dvds on a pc or is there something wrong with the machine. I've got a Lite-on DVDRW SHW-160P6S drive and win XP. Any help would be great. Cheers Marv
I do not know any commercial DVDs that will play on a computer without ripping. They are all protected. Some will play only extras if you download the software usualy included on DVD, but main feature(movie) will not play.
