A biz associate (PC beginner)in another state burned a CD-RW with some data files and sent it to me. When I try to read the CD in several CD-ROMs I get a message stating that the disk is not formatted or the drive not available. I assume he made some kind of error when I burned the disk. What is the likely cause and what should I tell him to do to correct the problem?
With what software did he burn it? Using Direct CD or some other packet writing solution perhaps? If so, he needs a UDF reader software for the computers he tries to use it.
