Have a TSSTcorp cd/DVDW TS-H552B drive that said that i had put a blank disc in the drive after it tried to read it for like 5 minutes...it was a print workshop 2005 dvd-rom disc that i just bought yesterday...i'm assuming that i need some sort of firmware, but am just trying to be sure! I am soooo frustraded!! Can somebody please help me!?!?
Under the assumption ur not copying the disc, I'd have to say it probably just needs cleaned. If ur copying the disc, more info is needed. What software are you using? Any error msgs? If so, what? Also, it's possible you may need to update the firmware as you mentioned. Holla back :~)
No, I am not trying to copy the disc...just trying to run/install the program. I actually went ahead and re downloaded the firmware for the drive (it was current already) and that didn't seem to fix the issue either. The weird thing is that when I put the disc into my friends laptop it runs just fine... Thank's for taking the time to try to help me figure this out though!! If you have any other suggestions I'm all ears!
