It is just the way Nero adds the files, to change the order just highlight them with your mouse and move them to the order you want.

I tried highlighting and dragging the albums in the order I wanted them but it just won't do it. The only thing it lets me do is invert the order completely (top to bottom, therefore if there are 3 ablums the middle album wont change). If i drag the an album to the bottom of the list it won't go. What do you think I should do?

You are right, I have never noticed before that you cannot change the order. I tried several different ways and was unable to do so. Maybe someone else will have an answer to this one.

In Nero there is a green arrow in the file tab where you have your selections added on your compilation screen. Highlight the file and click on the arrow you will then see your file move. You will just have to use this arrow til you get them arranged correctly.

I tried using the green arrow but that only flips the list from top to bottom. For example, if there are 5 albums, the list will be in a 1-5 order, but when i press that green arrow it turns the list upside down to make the order 5-1. What i want to do is scrabble the order like 3, 5, 2, 1, 4. I have tried everything but nothing has worked. Please help.

Nero is placing the order alphabetically and will not change it. What you can do, and I tried it does work is go into My Computer and the folder that you have your albums, right click on the file and open the proerties tab. In there add the number in front of the album name in the order you want it.

This may not be the cleanest way but it might work. It sounds like the albums are being put in alphabetic order or reverse order.
Add a letter to the beginning of each album title - A, B, C, etc. That may be a temp work around.

Nice, that will work. I also tried adding the number to the files added onto nero by renaming them with a number and it worked. Therefore, I am not messing this the names of the original files, just the copies on the nero list to burn. You are the man for getting the problem solved. Thanks for everything.

Glad it all worked out for you, this was a good learning experience for me. I have just backed up my MP3 files on DVD I really never noticed the placement. So thank you for letting me gain some new knowledge :)
