Im tring to install system mechanic pro on a friends laptop but it keeps saying Norton internet security is installed. Norton was uninstalled years ago and kaspersky was put on and ran fine and now he wants to try some thing new. Where can i find norton on this computer?
You can try Revo Uninstaller as it sees hidden installs and deletes keys from registry and hunts them down in there directory's and completely deletes them. Give it a go as there is a portable version aswell Revo Uninstall
Download and run the Norton Removal Tool http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039 Revo Uninstaller can crash your registry in a nano if you're not extremely careful and follow all instructions.. it has no safeguards. 2oG
I forgot about good ol' norton removal tool. I guess Revo Uninstall isn't for n00b's and for people that cant follow simple instructions...dunno PEEZ OUT my ninjaZ
I use Revo now but the first time I used it I trashed my registry….. Oh thank heaven for Acronis True Image… lol
