I got Motokit last night and was it using to upload homemade wallpapers into the phone. I adjusted a picture in Paint Shop Pro and accidently uploaded the wallpaper saved as a .pspimage instead of .gif (happended automatically when i saved the changed original). Now i can't get the .pspimage out of my phone. Each time i try to delete it, it says "Delete file a/mobile/picture/stillet-firm failed". Any idea on how i can remove the image?

I have never liked motokit... If you download P2K, this can be accomplished very easily.

    Just click on "Update Filelist"
Then right click on the file you want to delete

Let me know how it works.

I did have P2K (one of those i had last night, heh) and it looked confusing. I'll give it another go. Can you remove the "Cingular" on the main scree of the phone using it?

What is a good version of that program to use? I've seen advanced and many others...

P2K? The one that I use I'll post on my website.

There is a certain "seem" edit that you have to do to remove the splash screen... It's hex editing, and you can render your phone completely useless trying and screwing something up. So, yes, but not easily.

That kinda sucks. Have you tried P2KStyle? It seems to have an option taht gets rid of it, but i'm not sure how to use it so i'm not messing with it yet.

I think your motokit has it... I don't use those things because I trust myself more than a program.

BTW, were you able to delete the PSP file?

I think motokit is supposed to have it, but the option doesn't seem to be available for my v180.

No, i still have to install P2K. It will be up soon though.

Awesome! it worked. Thanks for the program idea; P2K was alot less confusing to use(compared to last night).

I do have another question though. I was looking in the help file of P2K in the "deleteing melodies" section, and it said it was important that MytoneDb.db be deleted. Do you know whyu that is? Will the phone re-write a db file when i'm through deleting ringtones? (i've alread deleted soem with out maknig all go to vibrate and w/o deleting the db...bad?)

Yep. When you start your phone, if it can't find Mytone.db, it creates a new one. Basically, deleting it just refreshes your list of ringtones.

It is VERY bad to delete ringtones without changing everything to silent. Motokit has a button at the top that says "Silent". Just press that before you delete any ringtones.
