Can't rip from discs recorded on a Samsung DVD-HR725

    HI.

    I have been transfering from the hard drive of my Samsung DVD-HR725 onto DVD-R and then attempting to rip it to my computer using DVD shrink etc. DVD shrink will not recognise any of the vob's. I then tried to use dvd decrypter to rip each vob seperately but the files are still unuseable when I attempt to edit them in Tempgenc.

    Can anyone suggest what I may be doing wrong or is there something that I need to change on my recorder.

    Well im no expert on dvd recorders (and dont have one and have never used 1) but it could be that ur recorder encrypts the VOBs so that only it can read it?

    Same problem for me !
    It works using dvd2avi but I want to find out a real solution.
    As soon as I can I'll write a mail to Samsung Tech Support to investigate on it.
