I'm currently using nero 6 and I can't seem to get the program to start burning my dvd projects. It transcodes the projects and goes through the rest of the process, but when it comes to getting ready to burn it flashes an "insert disc" message on the screen. It states that I don't have a blank disc. Or there is information already on the disc and I need a blank one. But I've put in about 5 blank discs. And it keeps giving me the same story. What am I doing wrong. This wasn't happening when I was first using nero express around 4 months ago. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please help I am a newbie.
Hi cormega83 Welcmome to aD 1st let's check your version of Nero. In smart start look at the bottom right hand corner and click on the icon w/ a flame on it. Your version # is listed there. Looking for something like 6.6.0.18. Now the disc you are using - what brand & format are they? Like Sony +R 8x. Next what the make and model of your burner? Go to Nero Toolkit>InfoTool. You will see a drop down & this will list the make and model.
