    format your drive to NTFS.

What is the difference between a FAT32 hd and a NTFS. I followed Larry's guide. Before I had no trouble transferring files over 4gb's but recently this has become an issue. thank you

NTFS is not the answer - if you do this you loose the ability to directly add games via the Wii as it does not support NTFS write.

    1) What version of Backup manager are you using (r5 is availiable and allows renaming of FAT files directly)
    2) In Settings (Backup Manager) Options, Settings, Select FAT / NTFS and check the WBFS split style, is it Auto (Best) if its unlimited then it will not split the file so when it gets to 4GB it will bomb out
