Cant turn on dv-767 on!

    To attempt turn the 767 on I hold the power button until the light goes green, the screen lights up very briefly and there is startup music for a sec...then the screen goes blank but the green light is still on. Help! Am I doing something wrong or is it the camcorder?

    What does the trouble shooting portion of your owners manual say about that?
