I have a Xcuter 3 modchip and EvoX. Just wondering if it was important info. I want to use the F: Drive on my Xbox to put games on the HD, but I have formatted it to get the extra 2 gigs and I still can't put anything in it. (like dvd2xobx)I was just wondering if anyone could give me a link or tell me what to do. Any info would be useful.
If you're talking about getting an extra 2 gigs from formatting, it sounds like you only have a stock xbox harddrive, which is the reason you don't have an F: partition in the first place...
no i don't care about the extra two gigs. I was wondering if i could just put crap in it. Please tell me you can do that without getting having to get another HD.
LOL HA no dude, your stock harddrive won't allow you to have an F partition cuz it's not big enough...well i mean, it MAY allow you to use the 2 gigs as an F partition....but what the hell would you put on there anyway? I can't think of many games you could put on there that wouldn't fill that up by themselves...
well the only way you can burn games on the xbox hd (that i have heard of) is using dvd2xbox and you have to put dvd2xbox on the F: drive. So if theres another way please tell me.(witch there probably is).
I"m guessing you're not understanding what i'm saying...[bold]you have a STOCK XBOX HARDDRIVE in your Xbox,[/bold] that's why you only have 10 gigs of space! The only way to get more space is to put a new, bigger HD in there, which will enable you to use the F partition...
i don't give a fusk about the F: drive all I want to do is Rip Burn WHATEVER games on the HD. Now is there a way to do this with the stock Hd or not. If not what new Hd should i get.
OK easy with the language.....thnx. Now....I'll say one thing. DVD2XBOX will let you send files to either E,F or G drives. Just check in the settings and it's all there. After formating and installing your dash the stock hard drive should have about 4gigs left. There should be enough room for two average sized games. If you want to do more,I would suggest getting a larger hard drive. ~to everyone else....the laughing is not needed~
yo punqewe if you could. Could you point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to do that. Or could you explain it? I know its probably not that hard, but if you could that would be helpful.
oh punqewe one more thing. I probably will get a new HD, what are someones that will work with the Xbox. Thanks.
