Can't watch video to create Thumbnail for PSP Video 9

    When I try to create a thumbnail for the converted video file, I choose "create from Video", then a screen appears and I hear sound, but no video. So I can't pick the frame to use as my thumbnail.

    I end up using Roxio Player to capture an image from the movie, pasting it to Paint Shop Pro, saving it as a jpeg, then using "create from file" in PSPV9, selecting the jpeg file I just saved. That's too much work!

    Is there something I'm missing in order to get PSP Video 9 to play the video during thumbnail creation?

    video9 is used for movies types such as mpeg,avi,omv,mp4,etc.

    Maybe u can use WINAVI convertor

    No, all you are doing wrong...

    You can only change the thumbnail before you convert the file, once it is converted, you are out of luck, so just delete the file from your psp, and before you convert the file, add the thumbnail.
