What are the best cards for capturing and maybe editing at low cost like Matrox RT.X10.
and Is this Matrox better at capturing than a Pinnacle Studio AV/DV?

Hi, Yes Matrox-RT.X10 is far better than a Pinnacle Studio AV/DV, but also Much more expensive...You can get something like the "Canopus ACEDVio" which will capture as good of Quality or Better than the Matrox RT for about a Third the Price...
The Matrox-RT.X10 is a Capture device But it also has hardware generated Real Time Effects built into it for Editing which is why it costs so much more But there is No need these days for Haveing Hardware effects because with the speed of Modern Computers and with Good Editing/Effects software like Adobe Premier or Canopus Edius you can do Real Time effects anyways and do more of them than are built into the Matrox-RT.X10.....
So basicly useing Good effect/Editing software and Haveing a Fast PC and useing something like the "Canopus ACEDVio" you can do the same things as the Matrox-RT.X10 but for Much cheaper....
The Canopus ACEDVio sells for between $175 and $250 with no Software(I have seen them for as Low as $169 on ebay)....

    Cheers
