I have just aquired a Pinnacle capture card, it is a year or two old. It has s-video and rca inputs and outputs. I have installed Pinnacle Studio 9 and realized that it is solely aimed at capturing and editing video. I was wondering if there was any way I could use this capture card like a TV tuner. I wanted to use it to play my xbox and ps2 on my new monitor, and maybe watch some TV by running the coax through a vcr and then bringing an rca wire from the vcr to the capture card.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can point me in the right direction of some 3rd party software that would allow me to watch video fullscreen with my card? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this is a newbish question or if this doesnt belong in the right forum. I have never messed around with capture cards or tv tuners. I am going to post this here and in another forum; I wasnt sure what category this question best fit into.

! sorry no one replied to you !

you should try Media Player Classic from the software section of AD

and you'll need one of those scart to white+red+yellow RCA adapters that used come with most consoles to come out of your VCR\XBOX\PS2 etc and go into the back of the capture card (with the audio going into your soundcards linein.
