    Hi all..

I am using an Canopus ADVC110 converter. I have it hooked up to my computer via firewire and I have a vcr hooked up via analog outputs. I have the 110 set to analog in.

The system will let me capture the video (using premiere pro. But I am getting a bunch of squiggle lines on the bottom of the video. How do I get rid of them?

    Thanks
    R~

These are allways there in VHS video you just don"t see them because your TV sets Overscan cuts them off....These Lines are were the VCR"s Heads make Contact with the VHS tape and it usually takes up about 10 Pixels at the Bottom of the Frame....

To get rid of these you can Simply Crop them out when encodeing to Mpeg-2 for DVD or you can Probably just leave them there as it shouldn"t show up on your Tv set as it should get cut off By your TV sets Overscan.....

    Cheers
