I INSTALLED A PCI 1394 FIREWIRE CARD. MY SONY VIDEO CAMERA HAS AN I. LINK CONNECTION. I CONNECT THE CABLE TO THE COMPUTER AND MY CAMERA LIKE IT SAYS, BUT NOTHING IS DETECTED. IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRANSFER MY VIDEO IMAGES TO MY COMPUTER. THE CARD CAME WITH VIDEOSTUDIO 7. WHEN I CLICK ON CAPTURE VIDEO, I GET AN ERROR " EITHER NO VIDEO CAPTURE DRIVER IS INSTALLED IN THE SYSTEM OR NO DEVICE IS CONNECTED" WHAT AM I DOING WRONG...

    dude, turn your CAPS off...

make sure the firewire card is installed correctly, check device manager for a 1394 controller and that it says that the device is working properly. also in device manager you will see the camera show up whenever you have the camera plugged in and turned on. it should show up under "imaging devices" as "microsoft DV camera" or something like that.
