Hello all, I'm new to this. I was wondering if there is any freeware that would allow me to capture streaming video?

Hmmm...why would someone just download any shady *.EXE file? Plus, not all streaming video is in flv format.

Very easy and free solution http://vixy.net/ Just copy URL of Youtube or similar and choose what format required from dropdown box then press start. It will take some time to encode but excellent resource.
