I have tried several times to burn a DVD with Nero 6 and have not succeeded yet. I have a Sony handy cam and capture with Nero and then go on to burn and it acts like it is going to burn and then it spits out the disc (DVD+R) and says it couldn't burn. Can anyone help me with this? How do I do this? Thanks in advance, Lisa

When you used nero capture, did you convert the file into a DVD compatible format? In other words, is the file folder you are trying to burn to that DVD+R disk called "VIDEO_TS"

I am not sure. I am using NeroVision Express 3 and when I go to capture it gives me the options of selecting a capturing template--DV, Nero Digital, or Custom. I am not sure what these mean but I have tried them all to no avail. What disc should I use?

Ok, understand. Question. Have you been able to get the output of your Handycam into the system so that you can watch it on your computer screen?

Not wanting to hijack the thread but do you have a video capture card, I use a WinFast 2000XP and mine look like this when I click Add Video in NeroVisionExpress

Yes, I can get the video from my camcorder to the computer and able to watch it. It is after that that I have the problem.

I am not sure about the video capture card. I assumed I had one.

I don't have the option of DVD like you do in the picture. Maybe I need the Winfast. How do I get it? Can I download it?

Open NeroVisionExpress, click on Capture video and you should be able to view video (from camcorder) hit record button and this will go to H/D. Follow as shown and burn.
