I've got a load of movies on beta tapes I made in the late 80's or so. They were all recorded in SuperBeta HiFi from Laserdiscs (yes, we had a video store that rented them). So, I've got a betamax deck connected to my capture card and want to transfer all to CDR's. But what I can't seem to find out is what the actual pixel resolution is for NTSC SuperBeta. I know it's 360 horizontal lines making it better than VHS, but that's about it. It would help me decide whether to capture for VCD or SVCD.

SVCD(MPEG2) is far superior better video quality than VCD(MPEG1).
