Capturing Stills from a DVD

    Is there an easy way (preferably free) to capture stills from a DVD that I am running directly from my computer? I know that I can go through the whole process of ripping it, converting to an avi, and then capturing the stills in Windows Movie Maker, but that ends up taking a long time.

    Play it in PowerDVD or Windvd. They both have the option to save any frame as a still.
