Capturing the sound of a PAL analog video with a ADVC -100 on a Mac G5

    I need some help!
    Although I can capture the images of an analog video (PAL system), I can not capture the acompanying music.
    (I am working with and ADVC-100 connected to a Mac G5 with IMovie).

    Grateful for any help

    Well the ADVC-100 Locks the audio to the Video stream at the Time of capture, so it sounds like the Audio signal just isn"t getting to the ADVC-100 or your PC is haveing Problems Playing the audio...
    Are you sure that the audio Cables from the VCR are connected Properly to the ADVC-100 audio Inputs??? and the Cables are in Good Shape???
    Have you ever been able to get the ADVC-100 to work??? Maybe it is Busted???
    Sory I can"t help much But Macs are just not used as much for Video editing anymore because of the lack of good software and the Price of the software that is available....

    PS: Check with tech support at Canopus if you can"t get it figures out...

    Ugh my so my post and my investigation were useless anyways check the cables if not check the options in that little menu thingy that is has
