Dont Know If anybody here knows anything about car audio but Ive got a question.

Ok, see Ive got a Rockford Fosgate 800.2 amp.

Now heres the problem, It says it gives 4 ohms when the connection is briged (MONO), but I was wondering... If I hooked up "For Example" a Kicker Sub a 2 ohms do u think it could handle that kind of beating?

And if any of u Guys have this amp. any reviews would be great, Just bought it today, a penny for your thoughts.

    "IM SOOO HAPPY!!!"

if the highest ohm that a amp can handle in bridged mode is 4 ohms, then do not hook a 2 ohm speaker up to it. although that doesn't sound right. if it is a two channel amp, unless it is a small one, it should handle 2 ohm in mono mode. if you have TWO 2 ohm subs, you can hook them up in series (positive on one to negative on the other, then other pos and neg of each to amp) that will give you four ohms and it will work.

Read the manual about the specs and see what ohm load MAX can be handled for stereo and mono modes....
