I've never heard of the brand before, but me personally, my favorite subs are Infinity, favorite amps are Sony, and favorite head unit is Alpine. I would recommend going with a more popular brand, but like I said I have never heard of those before so they might be very good, I just don't know.

As far as how many to have, well that depends on a few things. How much dough are you willing to spend? How much room do you have in your car? How much bass do you want? Do you have a powerful enough amp to drive more than one sub? I would start out with a single 12" sub, and a nice 600 or 1000 watt Sony monoblock amp. Then in the future you can always add another sub, and that amp will have plenty of power to supply both of them.

Planet Audio is a High End Brand Name... If you find there website u will see for yourself. But the one sub works I have a 2002 Honda Accord, so it is a fairly little car and my one 10" rocks it quite a bit (cuz my car is little)
