My friend has a Intel 82852/82855 on his laptop, when he try's to runs carbon the screen flickers and then closes. No errors messages....nothing. Thanks for all your help

That chipset doesnt have T&L Hardware (tuxture and lighting). Which Is a requirment for the game. Good luck
I ran into that problem. Intel's integrated graphics are really terrible. Try an upgrade, I don't think drivers will help.
