Using SysMetrix and MBM 5 to check and monitor the temperature of my case, which is @ 131 degrees F, and cpu that is @ 102 degrees F. Would i be concerned that these temps are a little too high? Also, it says Fan 1 is running @ 5037(changes) and fan 2 is staying at 0 rpm's. The poswer supply fan sucking in air and the fan under it is blowing out warm air. Sensor 3 is 32 degree's F. Shouldn't these temperatures be a lot lower? What are the ideal degrees my system should be at?
1st check in the bios after computer has been on a while in hardware(?) monitor to see if temp #s are close or not. if the power supply has 2 fans, the outside 1 should be blowing out & the inside should be blowing in for cross movement of air
ddp, i checked the bio's earlier and they were the same readings as what the sysmatrix was showing. The power supply has only one fan. I was thinking about adding another fan but i have no idea as to have it either blowing in or out. So what can you tell me what you think about the temps, are they what they need to be? Plus it is a little warm in the house during the day (keeping a/c off till it really warms up) Thanks in advance.
how many fans besides cpu & psu & which is sucking air in & blowing air out. does videocard have a fan on it??
Video card does not have a fan on it. Fan on power supply sucking air in from outside, 2nd fan under power supply, on back of tower, blowing air out and a 3rd little fan on the inside that is attached to cpu i do believe blowing air on it.
sounds like ur Pwer supply is the supplier of ur heat problem , cuase if the fan outside is sucking in , and the 2nd fan inside the PC is blowing warm air into the case , is pretty fusking stupid , r u sure that pwer supply isnt for cases that have a grilled space onto of the case so it blows hot air upwards out side of the case , or is that wats happening ?
No, the 2nd fan that is under the power supply is blowing the warm air out the case. I agree though, the fan on power supply should be sucking the warm air out.
