okay, i just bought a new mobo, cpu, and video card, im waiting for them to arrive which should come in very soon since i hear newegg ships really fast. im wondering which case would go along with my new parts, and i have a 40gb hard drive right now, i dont really need that much hard drive space but something above 80gb in a new hard drive would be nice or so, can anyone help me with a new case and a reliable hard drive. thanx, heres the part i got. thank you all

From looking at the 3 parts listed in your post, i assume that you are not trying to build a gaming or media computer. I am saying this because if it was a gaming or media computer, you probably need to get better hardware.

Now if your just build a computer just to use, then any case will be fine since you dont have to worry about keeping the computer cool, because in a gaming computer, keeping your computer cool is a must. I use newegg for all my computer buying needs, and newegg has many cases to choose from. It is all about the style and features you want. In feature i am talking about if you want to have usb ports and an audio jack in the front or top of your case. It comes in handy by the way.

When your buying a harddrive, i personally go with western digital, i have had bad incidents with maxtor. I have owned 2 maxtor harddrives and they both went to harddrive hell (i despise maxtor drives). If you want a fast harddrive you would have to buy a harddrive with a high rpm and/or S-ata. Now if you want sata, you will have to get another motherboard because your motherboard does not support sata.

Well i hope this infomation helps.

Well TonyDo the most gaming i'll be doing is playing command and conquer generals or battlefield vietnam, im not into that much of gaming as you can see, that should be able to handle it right because in my previous posts techguy requested me to get those 3 parts and they really caught my eye so i went along with his idea, but just in the neat future, it wouldnt be that hard to get a better mobo, just in case i do go into more high tech. gaming
