I have the the CW-50 and several ink cartidges. I was about to start printing the titles when I read the warning on the manual that says: "We recommend that you use this product for printing on blank unrecorded discs....printing on discs or other media that already has data may cause the data to become corrupted". WTF I was planning on thermal printing all my 'burned' dvds. What do I do now....is this just a disclaimer or for real? Anybody had problems with their dvds after printing the title? Thanks.

I never really kept count but I would guess around 30'ish.
Ive done about 230 disc and used up 7 ribbon cassettes.I learned to keep the font size down to 2 print one line movie title and they seem to last a tad longer. These printers are cheap 49.00 dollars at staples but they rip you on the ribbons 6.00 is the cheapest i have found them.

    Just an FYI.

I use to do 30 before but now can get almost 70 per cartridge. I learned of a trick from one of the reviewers I think from Amazon.
Everytime you open and close the tray it seems that it moves the ribbon. So to solve this it would really help to set it on 'manual open'(click tools and it will give you this option) so it doesn't eject the tray whenever you're getting ready to print. I try to do my discs one after the other. Also, they have the latest application software at casio.com and SAMS has the ribbons for $4.37 each.
