CCE + DVD Lab Pro Problems

Here's the deal.I have a 1 hr video file in .avi format. The frame rate is 23fps and resolution is 608x256 pixels. i use CCE to encode to MPEG-2 for DVD, set vid bitrate to about 5500 and audio to 384. After converting I play the .mpv file in VLC and it looks fine, set to widescreen just like I chose in CCE settings. I import files to DVDLab Pro and the preview shows it like it should,but after burning to DVD it shows full screen on my 32" widescreen TV. Is there a setting that I'm missing to keep the aspect ratio correct? I usually use ConvertX2DVD but CCE has better quality output, so I wanted to try and get it working properly. Any help is appreciated!
