guys, how do you run your CCleaner? I'm a little confused. If I checked the utility box, will my Ad-Aware, Norton, Spysweeper be deleted? Or just the log files and not the entire program itself?

Started using CCleaner recently. It has not bothered the Ad-Aware program. Can't speak for the others as I don't use them. I suspect the actual program(s) will not be effected.

Be sure to review your Options and Settings in CCleaner. There may be certain areas or files you want to be left alone. Just set your choices. Program works great for me.

I see. Cuz I thought once you've checked the box under the utility box, programs like Norton and Ad-Aware will be removed.

So its safe to just check the utility box right?

They are all checked in utilities on my CC. Doesn't bother Norton IS, Norton AV , spybot, or adaware. Great utility use it almost daily. Do NOT have spysweeper.

CCleaner is a great little program and does clean crapp as its titled. Anything removed is mostly temp files anyway.

I use it like quaterly in the year. or anytime i remember to do it.

Another good program is Easy Cleaner. This program also does many other things. Like clean the registry.

BTW, if i press find, does all the files found are bad? Or do I need to manually remove it?

How do you do it. I'm a little confused.

So basically, if I check my drive c and press "find" all the files that would come out are not needed?

So are you saying that its safe to just delete all that comes out?

What Easy Cleaner Registry cleaner does is check the registry for files that are still there but are not being used by anyprograms at all. It could be programs that you had on your system but u may have uninstalled and the trace is still in the registry it just gives u more breathing space.
