I just backed up Independance Day using DVD RB and CCE SP with 6 Passes. I play it on my pc with PowerDVD and compare it to teh original, it has gained a lot of fuzziness. What should I do, it needs pretty high compression and CCE ususally is good for that... Please respong. I hoep i didnt waste like 7 hours for nothing... But if there is a better optino, I will be happy to re encode/transcode the dvd.

Have you tried it in a standalone player on your TV? Your video card and monitor might have something to do with the fuzziness.

It might be PowerDVD too, but I'm unsure of its playback quality. I have a 9800 All-in-Wonder video card 128 MB and a 19" LCD 8 ms response time monitor, and mine always look fuzzy there but not on my TV with my standalone player.
