Hi all, have been using Sonic Foundry's/Sony CD Architect 5.0 for some time without issue. However, the other day it suddenly won't recognize the drive when attempting to burn a cd. The drive works in every other situation. I installed ASPI 4.7 without luck. Please help. Jeff
Maybe I should give more info. When I am ready to burn track in CDA, I go to 'Disc', 'Burn CD', but in the device section, it shows 'none' with no other selection. I use Exact Audio Copy, and Nero 6 without issue. I also installed Force ASPI 1.7 without luck. The pc consists of: AMD Athlon XP 64 2800+, Gigabyte KN8 (nForce 3), 512mb ram, 2 hard drives, Lite-ON SOHR-5238S CD Burner, and a Echo Mia24 sound card. I have Service Pack 1a installed. Is it possible CDA is look for a different burner in the registry? Where do I find it?
