I have been have a tough time getting my burner working lately and I just install XP, so that might have something to do with it. Anyways, this is what happens, when I throw in a CD-R or any CD for that matter, it will complete buffering to about 8-16% then tell me that it can't run on 16x or something like that. I have tried it on different speeds and the program I am using is Nero 7 ultra edition. Can anyone figure this one out? I was thinking about a lense cleaning CD, but it plays CDs just doesn't burn them. Thank you, in advanced for the help.
Ya, but I couldn't find a good site that had my sony Crx1611, does anyone know where to find said firmware?
CRX1600L-A2 was the only firmware i could find, maybe there isnt one for your drive yet, i found drivers at http://sony.storagesupport.com/cdrw/firmware.htm maybe you keep checking and there will eventually be one there ------------------------------------------------------------------- i did manage to find some software upgrades and other shit fpor your drive,check them out. http://sony.storagesupport.com/cdrw/crx1611dwn.htm
