cd burner xp

    hi,

    ia mnew to the cd burning business. as i understand it...if i have a drive with cdrw on it i should be able to burn cds.....?

    i tried...with cd burner xp but got the error message "error during power calibration, unable to fulfill writing on this disc".

    i tried another brand of disc...same again...i reinstalled...same again.

    any advice anybody?

    Hey Monkey72

    If you've already checked your power connectors and your ide cables, the I would go to the manufacuteres website in order to upgrade your firmware on your drive.
